US Wealth Inequality is Driving US Foreign Policy
& Media Bias: Ukraine from a Russian
Perspective (No Guest- to air 9//19/22) Recently I came across an important 2021 article which speaks to a common theme of Bringing Light Into Darkness, namely the gross levels of wealth inequality we have in the US. According to a 2021 op-ed written by Bernie Sanders and published in the Guardian, over the past 40 years there has been a massive transfer of wealth from the middle class and working families to the very wealthiest people in America. The result in the US has been that:
1. 92 million US citizens are uninsured or underinsured, 2. The top 1% now own more wealth than the bottom 92%,
3. Poverty in America has become a death sentence as evidenced by low-income Americans now having a life expectancy that is about 15 years lower than the
wealthy. 4. during the pandemic, over the past year ending in March 2021, 650 billionaires have seen their wealth increase by $1.3tn. Tonight, we make the connection between US Foreign Policy, Wealth Inequality and how each fuels the other. Therefore, the inescapable conclusion is that the driving
concern that motivates US foreign policy in the Ukraine is not the welfare of Ukrainians but instead ensuring wealth inequality is maintained and replicates itself to the
contiinued benefit of an elite few and to the direct cost and misery to the majority US citizens and the majority populations of the world. Please join us tonight as the show’s main focus step’s outside our media coverage, to get the Russian perspective of the Ukraine crisis and the Russian Special Military Operation denotation, a perspective that does not make it to our media coverage. We review an 8/12/22 documentary by RT, Inside Russia’s Military Operation that shares their perspective and includes a number of critical insights and perspectives that have been censured if you will by our US MSM coverage of the unfolding events in Ukraine. If you are not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.
