Host Pedro Gatos examines the life and teaching perspective of Nelson Mandela, particularly on the Cuban issue. We provide a short bio and describe in some detail what apartheid meant to South Africans and the southern cone of Africa that was terrorized by the South African army. We detail the numerous UN vetoes US and the west exercised which sustained the period of apartheid for 46 years. We also share the primary role the US played in the arrest and imprisonment for 27 years of Nelson Mandela.
